Refund Policy

Last updated: April 2026.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for two distinct payment flows on InvoClaw: the subscription fees merchants pay to InvoClaw for use of the service, and the invoice payments that end customers make to merchants through InvoClaw's Stripe Connect integration. These flows have different counterparties and different refund paths; please read the section that applies to you.

Subscription fees (paid by merchants to InvoClaw)

This section applies when you are a merchant (business user) paying InvoClaw for a subscription plan.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cadence. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. On cancellation, your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period, and we do not issue a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of that period unless required by law in your jurisdiction.

If you believe a subscription charge was made in error, or if you qualify for a refund under consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction, contact us at billing@invoclaw.com within 30 days of the charge. We will respond within 10 business days of receiving your request.

Invoice payments (paid by end customers to merchants via Stripe Connect)

This section applies when you are an end customer who paid an invoice issued by a merchant using InvoClaw.

InvoClaw does not sell goods or services to end customers. When you pay an invoice, InvoClaw acts solely as a payment facilitator on behalf of the merchant through Stripe Connect; the funds are transferred to the merchant's account, and the merchant is the counterparty to your transaction.

Refund requests for invoice payments SHALL be directed to the merchant who issued the invoice. The merchant's contact information appears on the invoice you received (name, email, and — where applicable — phone). The merchant is responsible for deciding whether a refund is appropriate and, if so, issuing it through the same payment channel.

If you cannot reach the merchant, or if you believe the charge was unauthorised or fraudulent, you may open a dispute (chargeback) with your bank or card issuer. Disputes are processed through Stripe's standard chargeback flow; InvoClaw cooperates with Stripe and the merchant during the dispute but does not hold the funds and cannot unilaterally refund you.
